Welcome, Richmond Teachers!

If you are an educator of any kind -- public school, private school, university, retiree, librarian, paraprofessional, homeschooler-- feel free to join this meetup. We have two goals. One, make those teacher discounts and extended holidays work for us. Two, bond as we do a variety of fun, usually inexpensive activities that help us revel in life long learning. Please don't be overwhelmed by the calendar. I'm trying to use it as a resource so teachers can see the numerous educational opportunities available in Houston. I doubt anyone will go to everything I put on the calendar. The things I'm sure I'll attend, I post as "meetups." The events I simply want to advertise are listed on the calendar w/o an rsvp section. If you want to go to an event that is not designated a meetup and you want a partner in crime, message me or one of the other members and perhaps we can works something out.
