![]() Exam results are upon us once again and in schools across the country, we know that the pressure isn’t only on pupils to get the right results. For many teachers this period can be just as nerve wracking as they wait to see if all their hard work has paid off. Here are some ways to keep the stress at bay. Position open: Fundraising Officer Teacher Support Network is a group of charities dedicated to improving the wellbeing and effectiveness of training, serving and retired teachers and other education professionals. We are currently looking for a new fundraising officer. See the details here. BCSE to host World Learning Environments Conference Teacher Support Network has been working in partnership with the British Council for School Environments (BCSE) over the last two years. In September last year, we launched a joint report, ‘Just another brick in the wall? How schools could benefit from better building investment’, which investigated how teacher wellbeing was affected by school environments and recommended “far greater interaction between architects and teachers throughout the process.” You can find the report here. In November, BCSE will be hosting the World Learning Environments Conference in Knowsley on 11 and 12 November. The event will focus on the question ‘What’s next for school capital after the general election?’ There will be a panel debate from leading experts from across the political spectrum and a lineup of “outstanding UK and international speakers.” To find out more and book your place at the conference, visit the website. |
